Winchester Public Library accepts donations of books and DVDs that are in good to new condition. All donations are tax-deductible. 

Please drop off donations inside the library during regular operating hours.

Due to the library’s needs and space, not all donations are added to the collection. When books are not added to the collection, they are sold to benefit the library or donated to a nonprofit organization.

We are not able to accept all donations. If you have older paperbacks, magazines, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, Reader’s Digest collections, Time-Life collections, or encyclopedia sets, a nonprofit organization may be able to accept your donation. Please contact them directly.
