Recipe Browsing for the holidays

I love this time of year.  I love magazines that feature seasonal recipes. Midwest Living is a great one to find new recipes featured.  Where do you find recipes when you want to try new things?  Let me remind you that the library has several great cookbooks.  They are available for checkout along with the cookbooks from the entire consortium.  Since some need to watch their diet, it is nice that there are some in the collection that meet those special needs also.

Several TV celebrity cooks have websites that list their recipes.  What a great resource right at the fingertips!  My favorite place is a website: www.allrecipes.com.  Most internet cooking sites allow you to put in a search and find several versions of any recipe that you need.  I cook a lot for groups, since I am involved with my church women’s group.  Another feature of this website is that it takes the math out of cooking for a crowd.  There is a “servings” button on the recipe that you can use and it automatically multiplies the ingredients amounts.  Stop in or go online and browse this great collection.
